Le Penthouse Voltaire
American comfort with a French flair! Overlooking Boulevards Richard Lenoir and Voltaire, 11th

Three-Bedroom, Two-Bath Luxury Penthouse with Wrap-Around Balconies and Spectacular Views
Sleeps 6

This luxurious and spacious 7th floor penthouse apartment is located where boulevards Richard Lenoir Voltaire cross affording spectacular views from the wrap-around balconies on two sides including the Eiffel Tower, the Centre Georges Pompidou, Sacré Coeur and Eglise Saint-Ambroise. Located in the 11th arrondissement between place de la Bastille and place de la République, you will have access to all of Paris and countless amenities.

Both a main entry iron elevator and service elevator climb to the top floor in a very well kept and appointed 20th-Century brick Art Nouveau building.

The 122 square meter (1300 square feet) apartment has been completely renovated and professionally decorated in traditional French style just this past Spring to ultimate luxury. The living room, dining room and office areas are situated in the corner of the building with large doors exiting to the balconies affording lots of light and beautiful views.

Sliding double French doors lead to a perfectly appointed kitchen with breakfast nook and door to the balconies. The kitchen is equipped with all new 2007 appliances including two gas and two electric burners, refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, tea kettle and absolutely everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal for a large dinner party.

Down the long hall are three bedrooms and two full baths. The Master Bedroom has a king sized bed, built-in closets and dressing table, and full bath with tub and shower "en suite." The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, antique armoire and large window overlooking the inner courtyard. The third bedroom has twin beds, built-in closets and door leading to the balconies.

A large flat screen television with 130 channels including CNN and BBC can be viewed from the living room and office areas, plus there is a CD player/stereo and radio for listening pleasure.

The apartment is a working person's dream with a provided laptop Acer brand computer (!), Canon printer (!), high speed Internet (by cable and WiFi available throughout the apartment) and Free long distance and local telephone calls can be made to 49 different destinations. Five cordless phones are scattered in key places in the apartment.

All bedding is top quality and there are plenty of Ralph Lauren designer linens for bedding and baths. A laundry closet near the bedrooms houses both a washer and dryer.

Nothing is missing in this luxury penthouse where you will feel like you're on top of the world with Paris at your feet.

The Area Around Boulevards Richard Lenoir and Voltaire

Brimming with restaurants, cafés, bars, restaurants, boutiques and galleries but no so dead center that you can avoid the tourists, the 11th arrondissement is one of the most pleasant residential neighborhoods in Paris. "Branché" (hip) cafés along rue Oberkampf fill with urban Parisians and Expats, while shops and galleries in the Bastille collect their own variety of locals looking for an eclectic day or night out. The largest open-air market (the Bastille Market) is just a few blocks away on boulevard Richard Lenoir between rue Saint-Sabin and place de la Bastille, on every Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Le Marais and Places des Vosges is a short walk away, or head in the other direction to stroll along the Canal Saint-Martin. You will love staying in this truly Parisian part of the city where you can feel like a real resident and not just a visitor among the tourist traps.

Convenient to everything, the apartment is within two blocks of three different Métro lines...#5 (Richard Lenoir station), #9 (Saint-Ambroise) and #8 (Saint-Sébastien-Froissart)

Guest Comments:

We are leaving the unit early Saturday morning but I would be remiss if I did not thank you on behalf of our family for the lovely accomodations here in Paris. This was the first time our kids have been exposed to Europe and the days just went so much better when we knew there was such a great place to come back to.
